LIFT Program

 Our LIFT Program has the mission of "Giving local youth Luggage, Independence, and Faith to travel throughout Transitions with dignity." The LIFT program provides luggage, backpacks, hygiene supplies and more to children who have been displaced. The items may provide the child with a sense of ownership and normalcy in a challenging life situation.

Many displaced children are an unfortunate result of the Opioid Epidemic, where one in three children have to enter the foster care system. About 1 in 10 children (7.5 million) liven in households with at least one parent with alcohol use disorder. About 1 in 35 children (2.1 million) lived in households with at least one parent with an illicit drug use disorder. 

We are currently service children in Lorain, Ashland, Medina, Crawford, Richland and Huron counties.
